One of the core values of Alpha Delta Pi is "unselfish service to mankind". We believe it is our duty to donate our time and money to both our national philanthropy and the local community.
Since 1979, Alpha Delta Pi has partnered with Ronald McDonald House Charities as our national philanthropy. RMHC helps nearly nine million families each year in over 62 countries and regions around the world.
The Ronald McDonald Houses provide a safe, welcoming home for families to stay while their children receive medical treatments, as well as care mobiles, grants, and scholarships. They say that although they cannot make the treatments easier, they can keep the families together during the treatment process.
Chi chapter at Wittenberg University is connected to Ronald McDonald House in Dayton, Ohio. We volunteer at the house on a monthly basis.
Every year at Chi chapter, we host our annual Fall Fiesta philanthropy dinner! We serve all-you-can-eat Mexican food, including queso and chips (most importantly). Dinner is open to all of campus and is a favorite among students and faculty. Proceeds benefit RMHC and the Alpha Delta Pi Foundation.
This spring, we held our inaugural Diamonds in the Dirt Wiffleball Tournament! It was a fun-filled day of round-robin wiffleball action with teams created by various campus organizations. The winning team was Witt's own intramural wiffleball team!
